In the room before the Fiery Depths there is a intricate maze you must navigate. This room is the only place in the game where you can find the Big Blob, and defeating those will enable you to unlock the chest. One room in this cave system features a treasure chest guarded by 52 Fire Blobs and 19 Big Blobs. The only room in the Great Caves (and the game even) to spawn this enemy However, and likely to ancient intent, the entire cave system is a very elaborate maze, designed so that very few people could find the room to fix it. This cave system was built by ancient forces who designed it so that in the event the Mageblade was shattered, it could be assembled here. ![]()
